Access to Capital Panel Discussion | Kaitlyn Fitzgerald, Danny Knee, Kristin Priscella, and Aly Sachs Present at TENWEST

At TENWEST’s Access to Capital Workshop, CIC's Executive Director, Danny Knee, alongside Kaitlyn Fitzgerald from The Jane Project, Kristin Priscella from the State 48 Foundation, and Aly Sachs from Local First Arizona and the Jane Project, discuss different avenues for entrepreneurs to gain funding. The conversation highlighted the importance of creating more equitable pathways to funding for Arizona small businesses and different funding options for Arizona entrepreneurs from experts in the space.

Access to capital looks different for every business. In this video, you will learn about debt financing, grants, angel investing, and venture capital from some leaders in Arizona’s alternative capital ecosystem.

CIC is proud to have received a grant from the Nasdaq Foundation to support the ongoing expansion of the Arizona Capital Access Program (AZ CAP), which is an initiative that seeks to address disparities in equity capital access through a two-pronged approach – by bridging the social capital gap that many entrepreneurs from under resourced backgrounds face and by expanding decision making power beyond current and traditional equity investment institutions.
